Heavenly Father,
You are the God of miracles. I want You to know that right now I am uncertain of my future. I am unsure of what is ahead for me financially as my job situation has recently changed. I believe that this is temporary. Because you are my God, I expect You to perform miracles in my life and provide for me in ways I could not have dreamed. I am totally dependent on You. Thank you for always being near me and guiding me. I trust in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 from The Message translation that says “So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” Right now I focus on the unseen so that I can see a better future for myself and for my family.
